The Greater Manchester Inclusive Recruitment Toolkit focuses specifically on ethnicity and disability and provides live examples of practice taking place in Bury, Rochdale, Salford and Oldham.
The project started out in Bury and Rochdale with community engagement to understand the barriers and perceptions of working in public services.
From this 7 opportunities for change have been developed. The toolkit outlines these opportunities alongside the live examples currently taking place in organisations.
Inclusive recruitment is one half of the Inclusive Public Services Project with the other half, Cross Organisation Mutual Mentoring.
