GM COVID-19 Vaccination Programme

With the Government and the NHS stepping down the rapid response model to support the Omicron Booster Vaccine Programme, the Greater Manchester Workforce Bureau are no longer processing expressions of interest in response to the ‘Call to Action’ made in December 2021. However if you would like to sign up to volunteer in the event of any future surges please get in touch using the e-form linked below.

Volunteers

If you are interested in volunteering for the Greater Manchester vaccination response please check the requirements below and complete our e-form. We will contact you in the event your support is needed.

There are four volunteer roles:

  1. Registered Vaccinator
  2. Unregistered Vaccinator
  3. Stewarding
  4. Administration Support

Before you start…

Some roles have specific requirements. Before you can work on the programme volunteers will need complete the following training and provide assurances, this is to help us protect you, patients and members of the public. The requirements are outlined in the table below;

Training requirements

If you are volunteering to be a Registered or Unregistered Vaccinator you will need to be able to provide evidence that you have completed the essential COVID-19 vaccination training.

Get a GM COVID-19 Vaccination Passport

The easiest way to provide evidence that you have completed the essential training is to get a GM COVID-19 Vaccination Passport and upload your elearning training certificates onto it.

Your COVID-19 Vaccination Passport provides a digital record of your training that can be continually updated as you complete further training.
